Nicholas Edward Cave AO (born 22 September 1957) is an Australian singer, songwriter, poet, songwriter, author, screenwriter, composer and occasional actor. Known for his baritone voice and fronting the rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Cave’s music is generally characterized by emotional intensity, a variety of influences, and lyrical obsessions with death, religion, love, and violence. Born and raised in rural Victoria, Cave studied art in Melbourne before organizing the Birthday Party, one of the city’s leading post-punk bands in the late 1970s. He shifted to London in 1980. Disillusioned with life there, they evolved towards a darker and more challenging sound, which helped inspire gothic rock and earned them a reputation as “the most violent live band in the world”. Cave was noted for his struggling demeanor, his shock of black hair and pale, emaciated appearance.

Hi everybody! I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to let you know that due to various reasons I will no longer be contributing to this blog.

I’m not sure Morgan will decide what the future of the blog will be, but I wanted to thank you when I took over. 2013-2014 was rich in various events and I felt very fortunate to participate in many of them and share my experience with you.
