Bus
Alberta’s Wildrose Party confirmed that the questionable placement of party leader Danielle Smith’s photo on the campaign bus would be replaced.
A picture went viral on Twitter on Monday, soon after the party unveiled the bus during a pre-election event in Edmonton.
Wildrose candidate Shannon Stubbs told CBC News the photo placement was an oversight and will be changed.
Floor Crossing
Many think she committed the unforgivable sin in 2014 when, as Wildrose leader, she crossed the floor with her fellow legislators to join Jim Prentice and his Tories, who were defeated by the NDP months later. After that, many politicians rejected him and banished him forever.
But believe it or not, the conservatives who hated him most are the same people who love him most now, and want him as UCP leader and head.
