Christopher Emmanuel Paul (born May 6, 1985), nicknamed “CP3” and “The Point God”, is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Paul is widely regarded as one of the greatest point guards of all time.

Paul was a McDonald’s All-American in high school and went on to play two years of college basketball at Wake Forest University, where he helped the Demon Deacons achieve their first number-one ranking. He was selected by the New Orleans Hornets as the fourth overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft, where he developed into one of the league’s best players, finishing second in the 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player Award voting.

Injury Update

The series depicts the way Paul plays for the Suns. He averaged 23.5 points and just two turnovers in the first two games – including a 14-point fourth quarter in Game 2 – and Phoenix took a 2–0 lead. But in the last five games, all of which came after his 37th birthday on May 6, he averaged 9.4 points and 3.6 turnovers. Phoenix lost four of five, collapsing in a manner similar to their NBA Finals loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, when four losses were followed by two wins.

The mission of CP3 Camp is to provide a fun, safe and enriching environment where campers can grow into a positive all around athlete on and off the court. Chris and his staff dedicate instructional drills in dribbling, shooting, rebounding, team offense, and defensive skills to help campers gain skills and confidence.

Chris Paul runs one-day clinics for youth ages 6 to 16, where attendees develop fundamentals and advanced technique while participating in games, competitions, and fun activities. All campers receive a T-shirt.

He holds the record for most consecutive games with a steal (108) and is the only player in NBA history to lead the league in assists and steals two straight seasons.
